When asked to rank all 757 Chinese university majors, AI systems identified a small set of fields with a distinct combination of traits: strong domestic policy backing, growing global demand, integration with AI tools rather than displacement by them, and a structural supply-demand gap favoring graduates. These 13 majors consistently stood out across multiple evaluation frameworks. They are not the only good choices — but they are the ones that AI flagged most consistently.
