Today I fixed a very small problem on CutDone.

It was not a new feature. It did not make the site look better.

And it probably will not bring me any traffic tomorrow.

I simply made sure that www.cutdone.com permanently redirects tocutdone.com.It sounds tiny.

Maybe even boring. But this is exactly the kind of thing I want to start recording on Ordinary Man Trying.

A few years ago, I probably would not have written about something this small.

But when an ordinary person builds websites and products with AI, most days are not big launches or exciting milestones.

A lot of the time, it is just small fixes, small mistakes, small discoveries, and slowly figuring things out.

Today,I spent some time inside Cloudflare trying to understand how the redirect should work.

At first, I thought I might need to build the rule manually.

Then I noticed there was already a template called “Redirect from WWW to root”.

That was exactly what I needed. I used that template, checked the settings, saved it, and tested the result.

It worked. Now the WWW version correctly redirects to the main domain.

That is it.A very small task. But I still want to write it down.

Because if I keep recording these little things for five years, maybe they will eventually become the most interesting part of the story.

Not just the successful launches.

Not just the traffic numbers.

But all the small moments where I did not quite know what I was doing, tried something, fixed something, learned something, and moved one step forward.Today, it was a 301 redirect. Tomorrow, it will probably be something else.
